Vertical Rush mentioned the band a couple of times in their biography years ago . I dismissed the band out of ignorance until a good bud passed me " kicking television " and lifes different ever since...musically.

Any fans?

Started listening to them around the "being there" / "summerteeth" era. I think those are their greatest works.

However some of the best stuff is the Uncle Tupelo stuff, especially "Anodyne". The fact that it's from a genre I usually don't like (ie country music) makes it even more amazing. Of course you must mix the country music with punk to make it interesting. Tweedy and Farrar were so good together, but it's a shame they couldn't work together.

I love Wilco! Fcukin solid band. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is still their best creation to date. The latest album was pretty good too. With a band like this, I'd recommend to not care about the reviews and just listen gradually simply cos they're a great band. Have fun man.

yeah i didn't manage to hope on their fan-wagon cause i was ignorant as well. very underrated band. i've got their documentary "i am trying to break your heart" and its super duper awesome. <3

My fav album is A ghost is born, though a lot of wilco fans prefer Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
