Wife nagging about guitar

Does your wife nag about you having more than 1 guitar or for unmarried guitarists does your mother nag about you having more than 1 guitar so do you shoot back asking why do they have more than 1 handbag or shoes?

This is one of the most interesting topics in Soft.Com that exactly related to my personal life.... I have been buying guitar for my (now) 15 years old son since 3 years ago... Not only my wife, but both my parents were nagging about it too. But I have got a cool answer... "The money I spent on guitars is still much lesser than the amount i used to spent to visit pubs/cafe .... now I can enjoy the live music that my son plays at home...."

Honestly, I have not been honest with my wife... for I have always played down the price of my purchases.... for her all guitars looks the same "Its just a wood with steel strings that you plug in to a black speaker box and make some noise..."

Yup bros, this is a very good topic. my partner have been nagging at me spending so much money on guitars, I bought her jewellery every time I bought a guitar, sort of corruption it may seem, Funny ha, our ears can stand metal music but not nagging, guess that's not music to our ears, hahaha

Hahaha the classic old problem. Just got a new Martin. And before she could nag, brought her out shopping for a wakeboard.

Problem solved. Until she starts to notice the room is too cramped with all my other toys and i have to find another excuse again.

Rinse and repeat for the past 6 years

It's not the guitars she complains about, it's the cases. 28 guitars is ok but 28 cases is a problem

Or just grow some big cahones. Problem solved. We buy guitars, women buy handbags or some silly branded purse (sometimes with their men's money). I don't see men nagging at their wife for buying too many bags? However, I can see the grounds for nagging if you have 28 guitars.

Yup, mom does nag about me having more than 1 guitar. Waste of money, space, room looks cluttered etc... Since I'm not brought up to talk back at my parents, I just hide my purchases from her until she realises I've got a new one. By which time it's too late to do anything about it! Haha!
