Why my Tascam US 122 Audio midi interface won't work with my new MBP i5?

I've been using US 122 for Mic. Guitar. it works great when i'm using my old macbook & imac 06'

However, i just bought the MBP 13" i5. After installing the driver from the tascam website, MY mbp doesn't recognized it. Anyone has the same probs?

Can anyone recommend and other audio interface/usb mixer that i may consider? basically more to mic inputs.
