ok- imissed the 'X' there... but i tried both brand names, KORG has a better drive/ distortion definition in my books. the tube equipped ZOOM in the other hand has some of the best multi-FX drive tone (given the right amp) but i guess it's not on your list.
ZOOM/ VOX/ POD stuff are relatively easy to use. my preferred tone might be different from yours but VOX has one of the best drive tones coming from a multi-FX unit but it can't do metal convincingly. POD does better in this light but it may be too digital sounding for some of us.
i've been through this multi-FX phase, i still prefer the guitar + amp tones rather than pedals/ multi-FX.
Ah great choice.
btw i thik the Zoom Gfx series is not bad tho.
Tried the Gfx1 and Gfx5. prefebaly i prefer the GFX1. i really think its light and small to lug around for small jamming sessions. the modulations not bad tho. on the other hand. i really think the gfx5 is reather bulky and can see that the wahs working well.
Hmm lol i dunno why but i get sick of mmultieffects easily and now i had switched back to single stompboxes. guess multieffects is not for me tho.
