Which guitar brand is good?

well, Taylors manufacture acoustics... and their quality is very high, thus the high price on em... Taylor is a very well-knoew popular brand.

Maestro also produce above average acoustic guitars but they're prices are not that killer... Maestro is a local not as popular as taylor.

but unless i'm damn rich, a Maestro is good enough for me man... i ain't gonna pay $1000 for workmanship/brand and the rest of the $500 for a Taylor guitar.

Ibanez on the other hand, if u're talking about acoustics... err... Maestro more worth it for the price... 8)

ermm, what about craftsman guitars?
are they any good?
i kinda got my eye on the package from citymusic.
its an ibanez copy i think. i'm not sure.

Yea Maestro quality is good and sounds very good for the price.

As with all guitar, what you pay is what you guess. A decent Taylor (3 series and above) will cost you 2k and above. As one of the previous poster had mentioned, the quality is very high and they sound very good. Best is buy used like I did. Will save alot.

They should seriously start making local electrics ...

Guitar Workshop puts parts together and makes good guitars. But from what i see, it's not really a profitable business. In general, most people will still prefer to purchase a guitar of an established brand name. It's the support i guess.
