Hi, I'm posting this thread to inquire more about which guitar amp I should get.
Okay, there are two types of amps I'm currently looking at. First is a Hiwatt G50 amp. Here's a link to the Hiwatt G50, http://www.hiwatt.co.uk/prod_details.aspx?pid=30&cid=21
Next, I'm looking at a Peavey Vypyr 30 amp which is a modelling amp. The link to the Peavey Vypyr 30 is http://www.peavey.com/products/brow.../item/116751/number/03584290/Vypyr®30.cfm
I'm not so sure which amp to get because I can only get one for now.
My opinion about the amps.
Hiwatt
It has the kind of British overdrive sound I'm looking for.
Loud enough for me as I use the amp for home practice and maybe in small gigs.
Peavey
It has many different tones of different amps and it has many different effects as well. Heard that it is loud enough for home use and small gigs.
I play mostly Oasis songs as I'm a BIG fan of Oasis. So the sound I'll like from my amp would be more of a Oasis rock n roll sound or Britpop.
Thanks.
