Hi everyone

Would like to seek advice now wat kind of amplifier is good for acoustic guitar.

Any to recommend. Would like to get one.

personally i'll try to avoid them.
acoustic guitar amplifiers beautifies the tone of the acoustic notes.
thus,it wont sound natural and the beauty will come from the amplifier not the guitar woods.i'll just connect it directly to a PA system

Check out AER amps, which are made in Germany. They sound beautiful on all acoustics and they never distort when you turn up the gain. Beautiful and natural sounding and lots of colour to your tone.

Cheers ;)

I'm not a fan of acoustic guitar amps either. I think they are over rated. I'd much rather buy a plastic-cabinet active speaker, and maybe a tiny FX pedal for reverb. It works out lighter, more powerful, more cost effective and more versatile as you can use the speaker for whatever you want to.

the cheapest at AER would be abt 1.2k if i'm not wrong.. the AER compact 60

also, the Baggs reference amp available at guitar gallery is 1.5 also very good.

the best i've heard would be the shire king amps at maestro, by an english company called Headway. good good stuff.. also aobut 1+k
