Where to Mod Guitar Effects here in Singapore?

Hi mates. My girlfriend bought me a guitar effects (Danelectro Fab Distortion). I like the sound of this FX especially if the treble is between 7 o'clock to 10 o'clock but more than that is really bad. I wonder if you know a place where to Mod this pedal into a very smooth sounding distortion.

Well, first you have to see whether there's a mod that has already been done online.

Next, Danelectro uses surface mounted components, meaning that they are a lot smaller than regular components and you have to use either a machine to mount them on the pcb or have an iron with a finer tip and components are easier to burn as well. Because of this extra precaution and workload, many shops do not deal with pedals that have SMDs. Anyway the cost of the mod might be more ex than the pedal itself in the end.

Thanks for your reply. I found a link about Moding this pedal.

It seems easy to do but I have no idea about capacitors, etc; where to buy those, and all the terms used by this dude in the video.. and i don't know how hard or easy to solder.

What i really want to achieve for the pedal is to remove the annoying treble sound at 11 0'clock onwards and increase the volume level.
