where to get acoustic guitar lacquered?

Hello. I bought a pre owned 1993 Taylor 912 C some months back. It's still great sounding and plays really well. The problem is that the original lacquer seems to have worn off so the top, sides & back have mainly matt finish patches. Only some parts maintain their gloss. The surface has a slight sticky feel to it which I can't seem to get rid off even after cleaning & polishing with a good guiar polish. Needless to say the gloss cannot be restored even after polishing. The exception is the neck which still has a high gloss. So my questions are:
1. Is there a place or person that specialises in guitar lacquering service?
2. Anyone knows how much such job cost? I mean are they affordable & worth it?
3. Is there a big risk that my guitar will not look much better or look even worst after re-lacquering?
4. Should I just leave it as it is because it's only aesthetic?

Appreciate any feedback that you kind folks may offer. Thank you.
