Where to cheap pickups for guitar and bass?

There are many shops at peninsula shopping center that sells pickups.

What is your budget like and why do you want to change your pickup? Better sound? Noise issues etc?

SV guitar carries Tesla (made in Korea) and another shop Toneriders (MIC I think) Thing these Asian made at fraction of the cost of more branded counterparts have been quite good to me tonally I must say.

Tesla definitely worth giving a short. Else if you have a budget, can consider used online.

Agree with all the recommended brands above if you're not fussy about brands and just wants a cheap and good sounding pickup. Another brand I would suggest looking at is the artec giovanni pups available at tymc.

Used a set of their alnico5s pickups and it sounded much much better and clearer than the original pups that was in my guitar.
