Hi everybody, i need help on buying a good electric guitar.
i have played acoustic for 2 years n went to a few jamming sessions with friends. I don't have an amp, and i m looking to buy the amp with the electric guitar with a budget of 500+.

Any recommendations?thanks:D

there is a shop called sound of friends together...can't recalled the exact place but there's a lotsa selection of cheap and good stuff...

I would recommend Standard Value, swee lee.
Theses shops has all the great guitars, pedals, amps!

I would recommend the Epi Les Paul Special ll for beginners.
A vox Amp or a Roland cube would be good.
Might wanna get a distortion pedal for better "rock" sounding.

right here on SOFT, my man :D i'm not currently selling anything but $400 dollar axes and $100 15W practice amps are everywhere on soft.

I think for beginners (i.e. buying their first guitar), it is better to buy firsthand from a shop. Because they're still new, so if it turns out someone in the buy/sell is cheating, they won't know early enough and by the time they realize it, it is too late to reverse the deal...

I recommend the Timbre and Smash electric guitars at Standard Value. If you like to play heavy stuff, the Smash S2 would be more appropriate. Great service, and Mike's quality of setup means you probably won't have to service it for quite a long while.
