where can i get V picks in singapore??

their good, but produces too much chipping when playing fast, too pricey.
they cost 5 bucks for the basic :)
bgwguitars are the only dealers in sg,he mails them to you

Agreed, and they're really thick picks unless you go for the thinnest. I use a V-pick lite which goes for $7 if I remember correctly. I find that it makes that clipping noise when you are playing hard, but it sounds really good for arpeggios and flat-picking.

BGW guitars will directly deliver to you through the mail. Great guy! And while you're at it, check out his Everly strings. Awesome stuff.

anyway, try jazz III picks instead, their better.
V picks doesnt really helps in the way we play, its just the tone. The fat v picks are just too thick to be used on accoustic guitar.too soft IMO. anyway, its your choice.(dont flame this)

Actually I find V-picks on acoustic make the tone louder, but I guess it is softer when coming through the mix because from my experience, if you use a V-pick on acoustic, the bass and mids overpower the trebles. My tone lacks a lot of definition even though it sounds fatter and stronger.

depends lah,i use diamond.the 4.5mm(wtf) thick pick.its really hard to pluck the strings with it as it practically glides across it.sounds crap on accoustic, but shiok on electric :)

Kindly note that v-picks are designed predominantly for use on an electric guitar.

They do have an acoustic version, which imo does not work as well unless you're specifically looking for a brighter clangy tone. The regular nylons picks, which offers a higher degree of flap, should work better for most acoustic guitar players.

On the electric guitar, most v-pick users would experience a mark improvement in tone and playability. Here are some reviews for reference.
