where can i find boss HR-2 Harmonist or sumthing similar?

wanna find a pedal that gives me the harmonizing effect that sounds like 2 lead guitars playing at the same time like the boss HR-2 Harmonist states in the link below.

haha cant afford the rackmounted stuff as of now . ya leecs got it rite just wan a harmonist pedal. i thot these type of pedals didnt exist till my fren told me abt the boss HR-2!

well.. try ur luck and see if u can get a hr-2 2nd hand.. these things pop up once in a while.. i think for simple harmony lines.. it tracks the notes well enuff..\

HR-2 is discountinued. PS5 is your best bet. but it doesnt come cheap. Check out soft store.

i thot it would cost abt 100 odd. but when i think abt the stuff it has on board tthe ps-5 i think it kinda of understandable.

alchemist: Just to share with you, HR-2 gives you 3 lead sound. Yes - 3. There are 2 tunable pitch together with your original guitar sound. Which made it different from the Pitch Shifter PS- series. With this, its just like you have 3 pairs of hands! But to sound like 3 pairs of hands, you need 2 amp in stereo mode for best sound option! Power!

Operation wise, you need to run it in a effects in/out loop, or connect the detector-out jack to a tuner for best effect. if not, you will have to set your guitar to perfect tuning and no buzzing. Very lehchey, but very unique pedal. Marty Friedman uses one. Go ebay bid, be prepared to pay, and good luck!


(btw, I got 2. 1 used, and 1 almost mint in box. Cant sell. Why? - bcos 2 of them sound different, the way they track your note. Yup - their responsiveness. Somemore the knobs are also very prone to wear & tear, since you always reset for different key for the songs you play. I need backup :lol: )

i thot the PS-5 would b a better bet with the other stuff but with 3 lead tones....tt's magic.
the big PROBLEM is finding it. i'm sure not many pple will b letting it go

leecs: The newest one is the H8000. Many people complained that the PS5 cannot do this and that la, and they want better something something from it. You pay for what you get, for a few hundred dollars, it's very OK la, plus it's widely available; anything better, go for rackmounted gears, in this case, Eventide.
