What's the difference between the MT - 2 with red words and orange words?

I just bought a MT - 2 from a nice dude, and after bringing it home, I noticed that its wordings are in red, when the one shown in the BOSS website is in orange.

Is there a difference between them?

i think "with more blue" means it's redder

Thanks for the info! So this means there are 3 versions of the BOSS MT - 2 pedal. Mine is most probably version 3, as its from Oct 2003.

Maybe i'll have to open it up one day to check out its IC chips.

Can't find a comparison of the difference in their sounds. However, it doesn't really matter so much as long as I like my pedal :]

how to get this mod done on the pedal? not easily googleable. wow the tone is much better than the monte allums mod. not sure how it compares to the keeley mod, but keeley's mod are quite expensive, it'll bring the cost of the mt-2 to boutique level price.
