what programme to use to slow songs down?

anyone know a programme to get from the internet to slow down songs so that I can catch up with the speed and then move on to the original speed?

There are many but i would suggest ableton live- try live lite or the demo version. Install it, load your file- wave, aiff, mp3 onto a clip and change the tempo. Nothing can match the time stretching algorithm of live.

Get pacemaker, an add-on for Winamp.

huh? i thought its easily available with WMP or VLC player?

WMP under now playing theres a small tab>enhancement>play speed settings.
