What kind of pedal should I buy?

I need a looper for my acoustic guitar and a distortion for my bass, coz I'm in two separate bands. I'd want to buy as few separate things as possible and preferably future proof myself for other effects demand.

Should I buy a Boss GT1 for my acoustic guitar and use my bass on it anyway. Or should I buy a Boss GT 1B for my bass, and use my acoustic for the looper?
Or do you recommend any other alternatives?

What's really keeping you back from buying two stand alone pedals to address the needs? BOSS' GT-1 isn't something you'd go for an acoustic/bass supplement. The way I see it, you can just invest in 2 pedals, mount it permanently on a board & you effectively have 'one' unit you can carry around that's always addressing your needs, no excess or something you don't use.
