What A Day!

First, I read in today's Straits Times that Farrah Fawcett passed away due to anal cancer at the age of 62 (I think).

Then I heard on radio that the King of Pop, one of the most (if not THE most) entertaining musician, singer and personality of all time, my beloved Michael Jackson, died at the age of 50 today due to a cardiac arrest.

Then, after I just reached home and switched on my computer, I received a Facebook PM from one of the admins of a FB group I just joined a few days ago and the message says the man who started the group only just a few days ago, has passed away yesterday.

:(

It's truly shocked me because I posted a message in a fan page maybe a week ago, and then this man (whom I did not know in real life - he was a Malaysian) requested to add me to his friend list and I accepted, then he created a group and invited me and I joined.

And then suddenly he's gone. Just like that.

At s tender age of 36 no less.

They were saying he died of cardiac arrest too, and I did skim through his pictures just now and I noticed he always has a cigarette between his fingers.

Yeah, I mean it can be anything that led him to his demise, and maybe I shouldn't even discuss about how he died but I sincerely hope you guys who smoke a lot, have some medical problems or are on the chubby side, to cut down on that stick, or even stop altogether.

To my new and departed friend Ijan, rest in peace bro.

I hope your wife and small kids will be strong enough to get through this.

Yeah man, shit happens. Gotta take it like a man, hold your head up, and not let whatever happened get you down.

On a lighter note, got any SMGs for sale? :D

My grandfather who smoked 2 packs a day lived till 89 and died of old age.

His two daughters who were non smokers & health freaks (they didnt live with him or breath his smoke) died in their late 40s / early 50s .... of cancer ...

go figure .....

Yeah man.

I read somewhere that George Burns smoked an average of 10 - 15 cigars till the day he died at the age of 100 but didn't suffer from a single ailment related to smoking! Is it true?!

I guess it all boils down to your genetic makeup and what went on in your family genogram.

Thus if we refer to your observations as research, then researchers have shown that the supposed toxins from cigarette smoke aids in the elimination of cancer cells that would multiply rampantly under normal circumstances.
