Hey,
I'm sure i'm not the only one around here who have got weird and funny conversation with the buyer/seller when dealing with guitar , pedals etc.
Just want to share with you guys some of the weirdest conversation i had when dealing.
And of course you guys have to share as well ! So to make sure we don't repeat each other mistakes !

I will start the ball rolling !

Someone once wants to trade his "fake" Gibson les paul with one of my guitar. And of course i refused. He then proceed to persuade me. It failed , and then he ends his conversation with this : " Slash studio guitar is a fake gibson les paul as well" (something like this). Yeah i know Slash studio guitar isn't an authentic one, im not sure about now , but im sure during the AFD record, his gibby wasn't the authentic ones. But then, Slash's unauthentic guitar goes through a series of modification and set up to make sure it sound good. Yes , i know i shouldn't judge, until i have played it and use it for a period of time. But i wouldn't want to take the risk for sure.

And just recently , one of my guitar is up for sales.
The conversation started with his rude greetings. As a seller wanting to sell my stuff , i wouldn't want to lose my cool just because of his rudeness. I sent him the pic and he wants to purchase it. At that time i was out with my girlfriend so i didn't check my phone frequently. BUT, just when i didn't reply his message for 3 minutes, he sent me another message saying : "Eh how bro". My point is , why can't he be a little more patient? It's just 3 minutes !
And most importantly, please don't be rude when having conversation with strangers! The least you can do is to add a smiley face. :D

Alright this is the 2 weirdest conversation i had !
Now i feel as though i'm ranting but oh well , just sharing with you guys ! :D

I would like to hear more more from fellow softies so please do share with us !

Cheers ! :D

main dealing is always - can it cheaper ?

Singaporeans are low-ballers ?

they just want to give it a try, try their luck
to be cheapo

I'm going off topic - but I just want to be a grammar nazi and complain about people who say things like:

"I am willing to sell/trade/buy ______."

I wonder if it reflects poor language ability or a poor attitude. Compare talking to various people:

1. To boss
- I am willing to take on this project.
- I want to take on this project.
- I am happy to take on this project.

2. To friend (note: "sending home" is Singlish - the usual English is "bring" or "take")
- I am willing to send you home.
- I will send you home.
- Let me send you home .

I hope I've made my point. Cheers all :-)
