From Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia comes the band Phlox and composed by Ahmad Zulikhwan, Syazwan Sazali, Hanafi Rahman and Hakim Tahar.
The first EP of the band made its debut in 2009, consisting of 5 units and the debut album named'' Quiver'' was released in December 2011.In late 2012 the band gave us a new EP entitled'' YWNTS (Segmented Single)'' which contains 4 compositions total duration of about 25 minutes.
The Phlox musical move in prog / psych paths with several influences from the 70's decade. Bands like Pink Floyd, Ash Ra Tempel, Genesis, David Bowie, Yes, Jefferson Airplane, Astra, Grails is certain to have influenced the sound of Phlox.Here we enjoy beautiful psychedelic moments dressed with melodic vocals and space references.At the end the keys play an important role in the band's music and add magic to the final music result of Phlox."
