Want to learn guitar but how?

Hi guys, I am very keen to learn the guitar but I do not how to start! I.e Where do i find teachers that are good? I know there are alot of teachers available at this forum but which one is good? I believe that in order to excel in it i must have a good foundation and good guitar techniques right from the start hence I wish to find a good teacher to learn from. Can anyone advice?

you know the term 'GOOD' is very subjective.. you should decide for yourself in this case.

Just find those with positive reviews and select according to your budget/schedule/preferences etc

1) Do you wish to play the acoustic guitar or classical guitar or electric guitar?
2) What kind of music you intend to play? Rock? Metal? Blues? Jazz? or some other genre?
3)Do you have a guitar to practice on?
4) What is you goal in learning the guitar?

As for answers:
Any music school(yamaha/rock school) or private one-to-one instructors will do. However, it is possible for one to learn the guitar by himself/herself through the internet. There are numerous lessons and material on youtube and websites(ultimate-guitar.com/justinguitar.com/cyberfret.com) that are sufficient.
