Hello everyone!
The next few weeks have a pretty exciting for music lovers
Tomorrow our friends at Kitty Wu are hosting Mono @ Zouk while next month promises Singfest, Death Cab (did you get tickets?), and our favourite Japanese Post Hardcore band ENVY on national day. Thanks to our friends at AStraits Records for making that happen!
But back to the present.
This Sunday 6th July is a good day for Singapore music fans.
At 3pm Plainsunset will be performing at HMV Hereen. Its Free so head on down!
After that it’s the turn of the young guns, A Vacant Affair and The Fire Fight will both be rocking Festival For A Future. The show at Glass Pavilion starts at 2pm but our bands will be rocking out in the evening segment at 6plus.
Tickets are available from festivalforafuture@gmail.com for $20 or on the door for $25. 80% of the funds raised will go to build a school in China. So do spend you money!
Next weekend sees Giants Must Fall in action on 11th July at *Scape Labs as part of a show called Listen To The Salad Days. So mark that one down for an interesting evening of music. 7pm onwards.
Other events to keep your eyes pealed for include the RSC Block party (featuring Plainsunset, March Twelve, and The Fire Fight) and of course
Jon Chan – Ears And Eyes 25th July
A debut solo show by the Plainsunset frontman! Come on down to get a unique glimpse of Jon Chan as an artist and songwriter.
Jon will be displaying his original art works and performing a mix of material from his upcoming solo album together with acoustic versions of Plainsunset favourites.
The band had their first rehearsal last night and it was sounding pretty awesome already! Jon has some great new songs to introduce to you all!
Tickets are on sale via SISTIC outlets at $25 so buy yours today to support Singapore music’s favourite son!
Also, do look out for the new Fishtank album hitting stores really soon!!!
Have a great week ahead!
