wads the difference btween a les paul custom and a eliste les paum custom?

hi all, jus wondering wads the difference between epiphone a les paul custom and a epiphone elitist les paul custom?

epi custom is MIK/MIC/MII

epi elitist custom is MIJ

elitist are basically mj epiphones.there is a difference in price of course,if you buy at sweelee the elitist price is double of a normal epi lp custom.the elitist use book matched wood, gibson pickups and all the good stuff.great in workmanship,no worries about that.

hey dime, if im not wrong not all the elitist headstock is that funny looking one, if im not wrong in a certain region it is the Gibson openbook headstock

Right on, not all Elitist have that tombstone headstock. There are those with the Gibby openbook headstock.

early MIK from the 80s also have a similar tombstone headstock...but with 3 screw TRC.

the elitists all have the same headstock.the tombstone headstock as from the pics is for the global market, the one with the open book gibby style headstock is meant for JDM, japanese domestic market.its not considered elitist alr.just a japanese epiphone

I'm not a fan of the Elitist's headstock tho. But other than that, they're pretty sick.
