VRUK pedal extensions. Is it considered cheat?

I've looked upon a website

It is a pedal extensions to any other normal pedal.
How it works is that, drummers can play somewhat heel-toe technique much more easier than w/o the extension.
I agreed to some extend that when you're playing normal heel-toe technique w/o the pedal extension, you're actually playing shuffle beat rather than straight beats, cause I myself plays heel-toe too. (See video)

So with these kind of technologies invented everyday e.g (Duallist, pacific BOA, speed king) can we verdict whether these assistance can be considered as a cheat or render assistance to our daily double bass drumming?

dude, i think, rather than saying its a cheat,
for me, its better to say that its an assistance...
wif proper technique, it will sure bring more colour and varience to the way we play....

where got cheat? if so, then people can call me cheating for using a bass drum pedal instead of kicking the hell out of my bass drum. i call this TECHNOLOGY.

kind of a rip-off.. and can't find it locally.. so, might aswell stick to what u have, get an axis longboard, or DIY this item.

Lazer has something similar to this.
check out the ranking or music theme, i'm sure music theme has it, not sure about ranking...
ask for the lazer pedal that allows heel toe.

it's more of assistance rather than "cheating".
It's like studying 'o' levels using 10-year series compared to those who didn't.

well if you think the VRUCK is a cheat,
then double pedals are cheats against single pedals.
so are the drums, and other musical instruments, we should use our mouths to produce sounds. :wink:
The whole idea of musical instruments are for them to improve with technology ...
otherwise we'd still be playing on 400 year old zildjian turkish cymbals. :lol:
