F Fruitwine New member Aug 23, 2005 #3 er, for a strat type guitar, wrap ur pinkie (little finger) around the vol. knob. strike the string, with vol low, then move ur pinkie such that vol knob is turned and goes up. if u're using a vol. pedal, much easier then.
