'Sup ppl!
First up, a massive thanks to all of you who showed your support for Love Me Butch at Baybeats 2005 last Saturday. If you weren't able to make it, LMB put on one helluva show (as they always do) that was only made all the more spectacular by the NDP rehearsal fireworks that went off during their set! What more could you ask for as a band playing at Baybeats?!
The LMB guys rocking it in the spotlight
For those of you who weren't able to get your hands on a copy of This Is The New Pop (sorry, we should've known and ordered in more stock!), the album is also available at Tower Records (Suntec City), Straits Records (down on Haji Lane, parallel to Arab Street), Roxy Records (found on the 2nd floor of the Excelsior Shopping Centre, #02-15) and the Wake Me Up Music shop (located near to Queenstown MRT station; consult http://shop.wakemeupmusic.com for a map).
While you're at any one of the above-mentioned stores, don't forget to check out the album Drones by Seven Collar T-Shirt! These indie-pop veterans have honed their 'Jeff-Buckley-meets-Radiohead'-style of song-writing over the years to produce the 11 tracks of thought-provoking ear-candy that can be heard on their second full-length release. Samples of the album are available at www.myspace.com/scts and watch out for their up-coming showcase right here in Singapore this coming Septmember!
