Add an artist or so whose vocals has impressed you.
Your vocal inspiration perhaps, or the kind of vocals you want to try succeed into one day.

===================================
I'll start with:
1) Mariah Carey (old)
2) Dulce Pontes.. esp when she sang "cancao do mar"
3) Inva Mulla Tchako
4) Bach from Skidrow

You!! LoL!

But seriously, Warrel Dane has impressed me.. From Sanctuary till Nevermore..

Different vocal range from those 2 bands he's been with..

I find these voices pretty unique:
M. Shadows
Haley Williams
Thomas Erak
Tom Delonge
Lacey ___ (that flyleaf singer)
Sonny Moore
Angela Gossow
Marilyn Manson
Patrick stump
Secondhand serenade
Chris Sane
Anthony Green
Chad Gilbert
Stephen Christian
O and for local bands, Inch-Allura, Matt-Ava, jean low-giants must fall, shirlyn tan-unxpected band
that's all i can think of for now:)

angela gossow's voice is amazing. not a sexist, but i never expected a girl to be able to do that. and hayley william's voice is damn powerful for someone her size.

but the vocals that caught my ears most was brian johnson from acdc.

Axl Rose
Gackt (a japanese singer ex-malice mizer i think)
Jon Bon Jovi
Mark from Westlife (i know some people will say that's gay)
X-Japan's vocalist!
Gerard Way
Michael Buble

You guys are awesome, I've got tons more vocalists to listen to now lol...

I'm adding Stina Nordenstam.. remember her voice singing "Little Star" on the romeo and juliet soundtrack? it's so.. small girlish, so cute.. and so soothing..

Mine's pretty diverse...

Matthew Bellamy - Muse (gotta love his falsettoes)
Deryck Whibley - Sum 41
That singer from Keane
That singer from Coldplay
Kyo - Dir en grey (he can really alternate screaming and singing pretty well in their songs)
Howard Jones - Killswitch Engage (a screamin', growlin' black guy in metalcore? oooh...)
Hayley - Paramore (For an emo band, she's super good)
Tarja - (ex)Nightwish (Haunting vocals thanks to her opera background)
Amy Lee - Evanescense (ditto that above)
Kelly Clarkson (The best American Idol winner so far)
Ozzy Osbourne

many many more....

My favorites are

Jeff Buckley
Matt Bellamy (Muse)
Thom Yorke (Radiohead)

There's plenty of others I live but I think those three have the most incredible vocals and unique styles.

Ok, I'll add Chris Martin from Coldplay .. his voice is pretty special.

some already mentioned, so these are the ones I really love in random order:

1. the DuPree sisters, Sherri and Stacy who sing in the band Eisley.

2. Billy Gilman, country singer I think. He's 18 now, started young, sang with Charlotte Church before.

3. Singer of Sigur Ros. Gotta admit it's rather unique, you know. I have this mental image in my mind whenever he sings that his mouth would be wierdly shaped but it's never like that.

4. Alanis Morisette.

5. Colbie Caillat. Gotta love her mellow voice, with her mellow songs. And like, she really knows how to blend well when she sang the harmony with this guy whom she wrote songs with. You can go check out at youtube. ahhhh.

6. Singer from The Dykeenies. Because I just like it. Check out Waiting for Go, and Clean Up Your Eyes.

7. Lacey from Flyleaf. worrrrrd. Also really like her style.

8. Tristan Prettyman. and Jason Mraz.

9. Raine Maida. His voice is so lazy, and low... I love it. haha.

1. Paul Rodgers (Free / Bad Co)
2. John Farnam (Little River Band)
3. Joe Cocker
4. Josh Groban
5. Art Garfunkel

I'm just curiously wondering, but has anyone heard Milla Jovovich's album yet? Her voice is interesting. The music's interesting too :S
