I don't know the setup, you'd need to wait for Khai or whoever who has performed there before... I just walk past it most of the time and beeline to the music section...

thats what i thought. i was wondering where you guys are going for the ice kacang. and sage im not comfrim yet. got my schedule with this private school very jialat..
 
yeah, makan sutra got ice kacang, also marina square also should have.
the problem with makan sutra is that its always packed with people....

Anyway, bout the SAC thing, every Friday night is Open Mic night and from what people say, there isn't much action usually. Basically there will be 2 guitars there (good ones but i don't trust) and a keyboard. Jon (owner of the cafe) will help you out with the mics and equipment. He only allows acoustic and acapella. So for those who can't play an instrument, i suggest you liase with someone who can and decide what songs you guys want to play. It'll be an awesome opportunity for those of you to get to know each other. The sound quality is awesome and you can hear very clearly everything.

For the SAC part, no particular supervision is required. And its a typical Friday Open Mic. Grace might be able to help to shine some light on this. Grace Pohhhh?

For those bringing girlfriends, better not. Cos when they hear my voice, they might fall for me. Please keep that in mind. *serious face*

You opened up this thread this afternoon after I went out mah, and I only saw the older threads in my subscription mah.

Anyway, gosh, too 'ruan' for me already.

I thought Tetra and FGL agreed that it's more economical (and the drink list much more exciting) if we go to a karaoke pub (open concept karaoke) instead of a KTV (karaoke in private rooms)?

And we also talked about of the possible number of people is always not firm? Thus it's better to look for those karaoke pubs with big sofa areas rather than end up cramped against each others' butts in KTV rooms?

And I've already highlighted with regards to the timing - that most people will likely to turn up earliest 7.30pm because of work and everything?

Anyway, maybe too many cooks in the kitchen liao.

I've been cooking for the last two events.

Will gladly handover to someone else.

ps Would it be a good idea to dedicate one thread to chatter and discussion, and one thread dedicated to purely event details and update/changes?

Will it be more clean and systematic that way?
 
ok gotta tell you guys somethings, siglap starbucks will open up to 1 am on the 27th, don't expect free drinks on me ya.
