Vamp2 and ds1

If I have a behringer vamp2, would it make sense to buy a ds1?

Hi, interested to know whether the Vamp-2 has a amp/line selector for the output to choose between plugging into amp and plugging direct for recording..

The Vamp2 has two 1/4 outputs: Left(Mono), Right(Stereo), so you would still have to go through a D.I box.
The D.I box can send one signal out to the amp via unbalanced 1/4 and one XLR output to the recording console.

If you got the money, I'll say why not.. a 2nd hand one would cost less than $100?

Well umm, it works for me. There's really a wide range of tones and effects.Pretty gd overall, though the switching from preset to another takes like 1 second, not v gig-friendly.
