Using modes

Hmm alright, so I know it's possible to use different modes e.g Fm lydian or something to end a song with that fancy-going-up-the-keyboard-thing.

pardon me for my superficial knowledge on this, but i'm wondering what notes do you actually play while running it up or down? (all the notes on the scale or just random notes picked out from the scale etc, 3rds 5ths 7ths?) and how do you guys actually do it so fast and smoothly!

I know it's part of practise but i'm wondering if there's any specific fingerings for them.

Modes actually simple to understand. Like C major, run C-C than D-D and so on within C major scale.It is useful to know the chord on what position from the scale and addition colours to that chord that fall within the scale.
There is no fingering to it for all scale.

For running up and down one common example is using 1,2,3 and 5 of the chord in common time.

Also using 2nd and 3rd interval to run is also common.

The most common trick is to run arpeggio.

Ah okay. My fingers often get stuck or just happen to slip everytime i try to run them up or down Seems like I've got loads of practising to do!
