Using karaoke speakers for small room jamming

Hi, i am relatively new to sound systems and gear. I have been using a BMB karaoke unit with 300W + 300W speakers and it gives me extremely high feedback when the mic volume goes beyond halfway on the karaoke preamp.

My room setup has drums, guitar amps and bass amps and the vocals are severely underpowered.

Would it help if i get a poweramp unit and i use it to power the BMB speakers?

My speakers uses connection cables that are basically just copper wires like this

is it possible that i can acquire a poweramp unit that is able to output into these kinda speakers? or does this kind of connector system only work for karaoke amplifiers.
