Long story short, I bought the Cobra coil several days ago, and installed it on my IC. The problem is, I had to change the counterweight on the beater hub. So I had to release the screw at the Vari Pitch Beater Holder. This is no.6 in the instruction manual here http://www.tamadrum.co.jp/japan/support/contact/faq/answer/pdf/ironcobra.pdf
The problem is... after I tightened it back, the master side beater angle will not hold. After a few seconds of playing the beater hub will slide backwards. When I reach down to check it it still firmly holds... but when I play it with enough force it still slowly moves back. This is after I tightened the screw back with my body weight to the max.
Does anyone have a solution to this or have a reliable and fast pedal repair shop to recommend? I will be needing this IC urgently for gig.
