Don't Go - Yazoo (dance riff with killing beat)

The riff that that got me interested in synths 22 years ago.
I'm teaching my son how to play the intro now!

The synth intros to "Eternity" by Datura and "7th Heavan" also by Datura are also very nice but difficult to play (more likely sequenced).

Ahhh.. Guitar riffs.. Gotta love those! Btw when mentioning riffs to a song its best to say which part of the song as a song may contain many many riffs... Anyway here r some of my favs:

01. In Flames - Jotun (The intro riff kicks major ass and IMO one of the best opening tracks for an album ever...)
02. In Flames - Behind Space (Outstanding intro riff as well.. Love the original version as well as their 1999 remake)
03. Dream Theater - The Mirror (The intro riff IMO is one of the best riff that Petrucci's ever came up with.. Simple yet its heavy and headbangable)
04. Metallica - Seek & Destroy ( I may not be a fan of them but this particular riff of the intro really is da shit man... Plus it was once WWC's Sting's theme)
05. Iron Maiden - The Trooper (What can I say.. Once u hear the openin riff most ppl will definately know what song it is)
06. Yngwie Malmsteen - I'll See The Light Tonight (One of my fav Malmsteen songs ever.. The intro riff kicks major assl!)
07. Cradle of Filth - Red Roses For A Devil's Whore (There r a few riffs in the middle of the song just right after the lady talks which I really dig... Gotta do this song one day man...)
08. Opeth - Deliverance (The outro riff of the song.. The rythmatic(sp?) palm muting really is a great way to end a great song)
09. Megadeth - Holy Wars (A song filled with many great riffs and the slow riff just before the first solo is one of my particular favs)
10. Nirvana - Serve The Servants (Yeah thats rite... The intro is one of the few "complicated" riffs that Kurt came up with.. And which I like as well..)

So there u go the top 10 riffs thats stuck in my head...

Oh it is so much more that than, fellow brother. Musically, how it is arranged, it’s amazing. Listen to it with no distractions and try to feel the motion and feeling it is trying to convey -it’s phenomenal.
