Unusual Strings Buzz

I try to Google and find no satisfying answers and so I am posting my query here and see if anyone can enlighten me.

The strings on my strat only buzz on the B note from the 5th string at the top to 1st strings bottom (ie. 2nd fret 5th string, 9th fret 4th strings etc...) The rest of the notes play cleanly.

I have setup the guitar a few times by Beez and Mike on seperate occasion. Both setups are great but each time after the guitar was setup, I would perceive that the action is still a bit higher than what I would prefer, so my itchy hands would attempt lowing the strings slightly and the problem arise. I do basic setup for all my guitars but the strat is really a headache...

The guitar has no issue now after ANOTHER setup, but befor my itchy hands start to work, I would like to ask if anyone may know what causes the buzz or is it an inherent frequency that my guitar has which cased the string to rattle on the B note.

Thanks!!!

off the top of my head, i would think that your house atmosphere has something to do with it. You mentioned its ok after the set up but when u bring it home the string start to buzz again?

Could be that the humidity level is high in your house? How do you store your guitars? And do you on your aircon over night?

Thanks Nicholasim for your reply. It is not after the setup and the strings buzz... it is when I attemptted to lower my strings a bit after the set up, the strings buzz ONLY happen when I hit the B note through out the fret board.... the rest of the notes are dead clean =)

(ie. 2nd fret 5th string, 9th fret 4th strings etc...)

Your 3rd fret and 10th fret is higher. Just file it down a little. Use a metal ruler to make sure that the frets are leveled.
