i kinda forget how. grr.

i'll be glad if u guys could help me out.

Well, do you have a tuner in the first place?

You know, if I'm a bastard who hate wankers/guitarists, my swift wiseass answer would be this: You can drop D instead. (D as in dead)

But no, I'm a nice guy and a fellow guitarist as well.... :D

asd

tune 2 steps down on ur low E string.

Although the lazyass (My) way of doing things is by using a digital tuner.

Sorry khai_stereotype. Don’t mean no disrespect to your query.
I’m so full of corny jokes it’s hard to suppress it sometimes.

Although I can think of ways to lower a G string....

Theres a way to detune without using a tuner. Give me a moment to recall. I'm restringing my guitar lol.

first detune all your strings from E standard to D standard, which is 2 steps down. Then detune the low E string, which is now a D, into a C. Similarly what you would do on a standard E, to drop D

I dropped tune as per my recording to C by ear, but theres a more foolproof way. Play your 5th string (A) at the 3rd fret. Tune your low E string an octave lower to that note. from there. Use the Dropped C string as reference, and apply the 5th fret technique from low string C up.
