PROMOTION

All bands who sign up will receive 2 hrs free jamming at beat merchants. Don't miss out.

DEADLINE : 20th July 2008

Time Slot is drawn by lots
Minimum have to sell 20 tixs. (This is to ensure that u wont be playing to an empty club in the event that other guest leave after supporting the band they came for)
Ultrasound members will also sell 20 tickets but receive 5 guestlist for family and friends.

There will be no longer commission.
Bands who are able to sell more than 30tixs will receive $50.

You aren't suppose to pay to play. Our intention is to have the band sell to 20 ppl so 20 ppl will come since we dont have direct connection with your fans. That is the whole point of the requirement.

Abit of background info, a band who wasnt very happy about the june gig was asked to perform without selling any tixs for the 13 of july gig. Sadly, they didnt even show up thats why if the bands can understand how we have to protect ourselves as well then we can all work hand in hand. We gave selling 0 tixs a try, it blow up again in our faces.

Jousha, if u got any other ways of maybe improving the gig pls feel free to drop me a message or reply to this thread. ( pls avoid number of tix and $12) They have been discussed for wayyyyy too long.

Zax, thanks for looking out for me and supporting me after 1 year. Want to do a Comeback performance? I can still remember how u had the openning slot for your first performance.

i would like to ask rather than keep this, cuz im not clear of the proceedings. when the band sells the tickets, where does that money go to? the organizer or the bands? do the bands get paid in anyway?

No the band does not get paid. But we're testing giving free jamming for this gig.
