Turning A Combo Into A Cab

A friend of mine just gave up learning to play the guitar and bestowed his Fender Frontman 15G (http://fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0231500000) upon me.

I'm thinking of turning it into a cab but I don't have a single clue on going about doing it. Seriously, I failed all the shop classes back in school and know nothing about wiring etc.

One option that I have in mind is to have it sent to the local electric have him reroute/rewire or something so that I can just plug in a head into the input jack of the amp and it will bypass the Frontman's amp and go straight to its speakers.

Or is that ridiculous and there are better solutions out there? Do help me out.

I did open up the back of the amp and here's a picture of its innards...

And here's the soldered joint

Thanks!

1. Get a 1/4" jack, if you want good quality, try switchcrafts.

2. Secure the jack to somewhere. Drill a hole in the back or something.

3. See the 2 wires soldered to the speaker? The white and black one?
Solder the other ends, one to the tip and one to the ring.

4. Plug in a head and enjoy.

theblueark, you the man. Thanks a lot.

I still might have to take it to the nearest shop though. Maybe one of my EE major friends might have them solders and stuff...

o.o this was exactly what i was looking for!
