Anyone tried these babies yet? I bought a 20" ride from The Music Lab the other day for round 260 pops. Amazing.

i've got 6" and 9" splashes
17" crash and 21" dry ride..
yet to complete wif one more crash and hats...
hahahahah
they are wonderfull!!!

Totally. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the price, but DAAAMN! they so totally give you no reason to buy cymbals from the big three!

Yo...thanks for the great review! They're indeed amazing cymbals. The next shipment will be even more colourful. We'll be bringing in Turkish's other more "exotic" makes. I've heard some of them and they're really out of this world. The best part is, all their cymbals (even the really thin ones) have great stick definition regardless of wash.

I've played most of the other more popular istanbul made cymbals and in my opinion, Turkish has some of the best QC and their attention to details is amazing. Whats more, they offer 3 years warranty to all Rides and Hi-Hats and 1 year to all crashes (except splashes).

The so called big 3 is amazing too, but Turkish shouldn't be judged by its price. Rather, its here to offer different timbral options.

Thanks for all your support again!

yo alvin..

maybe you cud tell us which series youre bringing it..
i've been looking thru the turkish catalogue and was considering some of their cymbals from other series apart from classic...

so.. yea

I'm still deciding. But like I said, I can do special order the next time I place an order. We'll continue to asborb the cost for no-minimum orders. Actually, I'm suprised you didn't like the Sehzade. Its really awesome for heavier playing...its brighter and the bell cuts alot better.

not dont like lah...
but havent found a suitable sound for mi myeself.. to compliment the other cymbals i have ah.. haahah.....
but possible the sehzade hats will be next

Yo Fuman!! Serious ah?? Still not getting enough of the Turkish?? I'm glad there is a cymbal enthusiast like you to drop us some honest reviews.

Dull: Its cool lah....haha...different people different taste I guess. Anyway, will keep you posted as to when I'll be making orders.

u know.... after fuman said 'Turkish Delights' ... i actually googled turkish sehzade "delights" instead of "hihat"

think i too long never eat kofta liao......

Just like the sound of the Turkish Custom series... one word... exotic... 8)

Yet to acquire...

Studio 13" hi-hat
Kurak 10" and 12" splash
Punto 20" ride
Golden Legend 21" ride

8)

omg DH you monster! what series did you get the other time anyway?

anyway, i'll prolly be getting a couple of pieces when the next order's in. dropped by a while back to try the remaining stuff but alvin wasnt there. had a new staff though! heh, nice person that girl.

DT,pls bring some cymbals, I've got the thought of buying some Turkish after some of you made a pretty good review about it.

Smilz: you can also bring some of your cymbals too.

Whom ever can bring whatever stuff just bring la, over there (UP CC) got 2 drum sets.

I'm slowly coming out of my "Electronic drums" concept "shell", and I'm jealous of all of you who has been playing acoustic, so let me into the acoustic drum race.

1st stop cymbal-land.

uh i dont know her name lol. just went there to check out the cymbals and prices so i can compile a list of those i wanna get.
dont think i can save up in time so i'll prolly get what i need first, not what i want. heh.

lol nah i'm just curious about how it sounds. cos my friend says he wants to have a 22" 24" china in his setup in the future. one on the left, the other on the right. i think it'd prolly sound very gong-ish. and it'd be blaaarrdy heavy also!

but on the other hand, a 24" china would be pretty darn awesome eh? will look damn damn fierce hahah!

oh i'm bringing a 20" paiste 502 ride cos i need bro DH to drill. i wanna add jingles heh.
