Needs good carpentry skills and can relate to WOOD very well. There are some webby which shows the steps.
And yeah.......it's almost impossible to find someone to supply truss rod of exact specs. Different brand and models truss rods are different.
VERDICT: Broken or jammed beyond repair truss rod, means you have to DISPOSE the neck. Or pay a hefty sum to get it fixed.
