Tremelo...

I'm currently using Ibanez SA120... But I don't understand how the tremelo works... Cos' there's just a hole for the tremelo bar to put it it... And I don't think its secure because it always drops easily...

So, is there any "correct" method to put it in? so that it wont drop out that easily? Thanks! :D

er i think he means place the tremolo arm in the hole, and keep it turning it until it is secure.

actually, if you want it to be tight, you can put in some graphite shavings from a pencil. however, i would not recommend as it's messy.

the other option could be to put in a small spring inside the hole so when you turn enough the bar will tighten at one point.

drops as in drop out of the guitar?

the vibrato bar for the SA120 is the unthreaded version, if it 'drop' as in it doesn't stay put in one position, that's normal.

Yea drop as in dropping out of the guitar... Like when I overturn it... And there isnt any screws or anything which some other models have..

make sure you push in the arm all the way through until it clicks in. if this persists, tell the store it's dysfunctional.

i was in posession of the SA120 for quite a while, did a vibrato frenzy & no fall-outs occurred...

Hmm alright... Thanks... I might make a video of it and show you guys what that mean... Hopefully its nothing serious to save me those troubles... :)

uh. ignore what i said then. i thought urs had screw threading. :(

I got the GSA 60, which uses the same SAT bridge as your SA, Yeah unfortunately the arm is meant to drop out easily.... quite irritating, so nowdays i stopped putting the arm in, instead I apply pressure directly to the bridge to get the whammy effect.
