Stumbled upon this fine baby at a second hand shop. Stated 15watts, Class A, utilised 4 vacuum tubes and made in England. Enclosed an 8 inch Celestion speaker in a beautiful green box.

Appreciate your kind feedbacks and inputs on sound quality.

Thank a lot.

CHeers, :D

guess u have to check online reviews, because i dont think many or even a few of us have tried the amp or own it.

i have one.. its SUPER LOUD for 15watts!

sounds sweet and works well with pedals.

limited controls though, but an EQ pedal can solve that.

Bought it anyway despite need to repair. Preferrence for tube amps. Any good recommendation for trust worthy amp repairers in SG?

Very keen to hear out how it sounds like.

Cheers :D

pm me if you want the contact of (imho) the best amp tech in singapore.

he's an engineer by profession and builds/repairs tube amps as a sideline.

he's quite familiar with the velocette as he's overhauled mine before.

Benster,
Wonder if you could highlight the sound difference between the gibson solid state and the vellocette amps.

Thanks

Hi all,
Finally got my amp back. It turned out to be transformer fault hence replaced with a reputable audiofile tranny and upsized.
1st impression of this fine baby sounded very analog and that's what i want. :D Though the volume and tone seem simple, it takes a while to achieve the tone which i desire. Upon that, i love every moment of it.
As play time progresses, being a full tube amp, it sounded even warmer. It sounded well with gadgets and multi effects too.
It must be my lucky day to have come across this fine baby.
For those who like tube sound, don't miss this one.

Thanks all.

:D :D :D
