time to play?

hi, i'm a classical guitar player thinking of moving to playing a electric guitar instead. however, i'm learning classical guitar becos i took up a elective module tat teaches the classical guitar.

i'm more of a electric guitar person, so i was thinking if i would have time to play the guitar or rather where do u guys take time to play guitar?

also i wanna buy myself a lp guitar wif amp not spending more than $300 i wouldnt mind a used one, tis is not a buy/sell ad, just looking for advice or if anyone has any to offer...thanks for reading

its pretty hard to find a LP guitar not spending more than $300 *including amp*
Unless you get a LP Copy from other brands.

haha, i like the sound, my guitar playing fren was telling me tat lp altho is heavier but the sound is full of balls...no la cos i play classical guitar, so i prefer warmer sounds and feel the weight of the guitar too.

i cannot deny the fact tat i like the shape partly due to slash playing it.

lastly, i wouldn't mind those copy versions, since it's for hobby and most of the time will be sitting in my room.

and during weekends, i play one and a half hours and rest one hour and play another one and a half hours again. haha. that how much time i spend ~

and when i'm learning a new song, i would spend 3 hours practising and listening to the song over and over again. if i dont get it, TMR IS A BRAND NEW DAY.

Hahah, gjtaylor, I like your attitude man! For me, I'm just a beginner, having picked up guitar for only a couple of months. I try to practise an hour every night, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my interest is not a fleeting fancy and that I'll have the same kind of drive and determination to keep on playing like you do!

haha, thanks mate. but i'm no pro too.
i started playing 11 months ago. when i just started, i was more hardcore than this. haha. playing 6 hours straight with a couple of breaks in between of course.
i just love to play a guitar.
if u got a passion for something, it will never die.
