Thumbpicks

I've decided that I want to be Tommy Emmanuel. So I need some thumbpicks. I have a dunlop thumbpicks that I got from Davis but I find that this thumbpick is a little thick. Davis dun have any other types other than a metal type which I don't really like. Got any place sell more varieties of thumbpicks?

interestingly i've at one point of time scoured for the same thing as you do... had to perform Classical Gas in a duet with my friend on piano so was looking for that thumbpick...

but i digress. my conclusion is that you can't find thumbpicks with a proper picking thickness. The ones at Sweelee and Yamaha just are way too thick for my liking, and doesn't seem like the one Tommy uses (it's way too thick to even out the thumb and the finger dynamics.)

What I did was buy the thumbpick, cut the picking end and superglue a pick i liked onto the inside of that thumb groove. You might want to try that if you're like me and can't find a decent thumbpick.

Thanks, I'll scout around for thumbpicks first, and if I really can't find I'll have to go your route hehe.
