anyone here into the band third eye blind? i don't think that they are very big over here in Singapore. anyway, i was thinking of forming a band which does mostly third eye blind covers and some other stuff along that line. is anyone interested? pls post your replies here, thanks! =)

hmmm... they were VERY big in singapore about 8-9 years ago, they came down once and i got their autograph... but after that, nothing else... i'm nt into them anymore though, u just get tired after awhile i guess

Pretty sure they are american. They had that one big hit, Semi Charmed Kind of Life, the one that went doot doot doot ...I found it damn annoying.

yeah agree with u man...gets annoying after awhile..

hey! the doot doot doot is very cheerful imo. :D never fails to cheer me up when i listen to that song :D

at least their better than panic at the disco la... blah blah blah havent you ever heard of. closing the goddamn door knob... damn singapore radio.

I have to agree that the new goo goo dolls album sound quite generic pop rock... Dizzy up the Girl is still the best they have to offer.
Third Eye Blind I am a fan of the first 2 albums... the third album didn't really catch me except 1 or 2 songs.

third eye blind is one of my favourite bands, i've seen them twice, have their drummer on my AOL Instant Messenger List and I went up to new york to meet them. hahaha. if all you've heard is semi-charmed life (the doot doot doot song) then you're missing out. their songwriting is amazing. very alternative and their vocal lines are very interesting and unconventional.

check out 1000 Julys, Narcolepsy, The Background, Motorcycle Drive By, Wounded, God of Wine, Graduate, Faster, Blinded, Darwin, Hit and Run...oh man, there are so many more awesome songs by them but those are probably my favourites.

3EB was one of the good things from the 90s. not a big fan of the 3rd album, but the first two are excellent. i prefer Blue in terms of its production quality and more experimental songwriting.. they're great writers and arrangers! Brian Codango (lead guitars) and Arion Salazar (Bass) are just uber tasteful in terms of that lick & riff choices.. it's catchy pop rock and all!
