THE TV series that will attract you

okay guys, I'm suppose to get some ideas and maybe film a short or brief episode (or the whole thing) of a tv series. the series should be sth mainstream and go along the lines of those oh-so-popular tv shows that are so hot now (heroes, lost, prison break), basically stuffs that are imaginary, yet practical enough to capture attention of viewers. its a sch project anyway :(

hopefully i dont waste too much bandwidth here on soft, but just wanna hear wad are some new stories and plot ideas that you all think will attract modern tv goers?

how about this

This wealthy man who has a rare disease which only one man in the world could cure it travels around the world in search for that man. Along his journey he come across his bussiness nemesis and these people try to find opportunity to kill him by hiring mecernaries to chase him around the globe.. and the CIA is then attached to send survellance team to look after this wealthy guy and one of them is a woman who will develope a relation ship with this man through out the episodes.. and then characther development comes in. Why the CIA has to be involved? well probably the later plot reveals that he is has a multi million dollar deal with the government/administration which will cause the national treasure or revenue to be at the mercy of loss. So this man travels around the world looking for this mystery man and maybe yet again in the later plot its another twist that this man is only a manipulating myth created by the government them selves so when this rich guy isnt in the country many many things happened to his bussiness and multi billion dollar cooperation. Then he founds out about it and went back to settle the score...

then maybe the 2nd season or something he founds out that there is really a man who could cure him.. so yeah

hahahaha well this is my idea of a golden globe award series :P and i call it The Cure

Sounds like Lost in some sense. Sick people go to mystical island. Unknown island which cures people. There's some corporation behind it.
 
do something that has to do with modern say issues that relates to kids.
like divorce, killing of their close friends, bgr....
 
Everyone wants to see a huge conspiracy nowadays. Like Prision break, Lost, Heroes. All these shows got some Major conspiracy.

If government officials don't understand, I don't think we will understand either lah... but that's a good idea. Hard to make a series, considering how simple singapore's political state is.
 
Have a show about nepotism, how everything in this country called ZULUZULU, is run by a single family called the eeL family.
They have an investment corporation of the country called Zulusek Holdings, then MM eeL's wife is in charge, MM eeLs son is the Chancellor of the country, then MM eeLs other son is Zulu-tel boss.

The president is R.S Athan who is a puppet.

Then show the sex of MM eeL's Son,The Chancellor with his tomboy-looking wife, then talk about his past, about how MM eeL psychoed his Son's first wife into suicide because she gave birth to a boy who looks like that guy from Ronin and Astroninjas...

Then have alot of sex scenes, then fighting scenes between 4-Harmless-Unarmed-Juvenile-Oldman-LittleOldLady protesters and 4Truckloads of the Zulu Police Force (ZPF) , bomb squad , guns, knife ( Talk about advantage... )

Then show how MM eeL came to power by putting harmless people who said shit about him in Jail, under the Internal Zulu Act, where they hold them for 17 to 20 years without trial in their Detention centre so secret its given a code name , Star-Bear under operation Scarlet-Monkeys

Then zoom into modern day ZULUZULU, talk about how MM eel's Son wants to care for everyone but puts a cap on the minimum amount in their Central Zulu Fund ( CZF ) before withdrawal at their OLD age of 65 after working for freakign 45 years. And the minimum amount is preposterous because who the hell has $120k in their CZF unless you bring home $3mil annually ( dont forget your payment for that ghetto of yours you call a HZB Flat that MM eeL charges a high price for to make it seem your dirt shit is worth gold --> the HZF sells you the ghetto for $600k, lease for 99 years. When you die the $600k goes where? to the old folks? not those on the streets i guess, the only old folk's pocket thats going to is MM eeL. )




That would take the cake.
Oh wait im actually living in such a show!
