The tremolo springs area

I like to ask if any know the back of the guitar where the tremolo springs is located, what is this area called? I have just bought my 1st electric guitar about 2 months ago, a Squire Strats. I was just opening the part to understand what each part does and check if there are any lose screws. When I opened the back of the guitar where the tremolo springs is located, the finishing of that area is very badly done with very rough uneven layer of lacquer. I like to ask you guys if I should take the guitar back to the shop and ask for an exchange or do you guys think it is alright?

Thanks

OK. Firstly by opening up the back cover, some dealers may tell you that you already void your warranty(if any).

Secondly, you should ask your self WHY do they put a cover on it?? So that it's the inside gut of the guitar, if you open up the cover on anything, likely it won't look good what.
It's normal and almost all guitar have an 'unfinished' interior. It's meant to be that way.

Thirdly, why did you not read up more and find more information before digging into the interior of the git??? By messing with the screws and adjustments, you might mess up the whole playing action of the guitar or even worst permanently damaging it.

Most probably if you present this case to the dealer, he'll probably stare at you wide eyes and say "Are you Nuts???" or just laugh his ass off.

Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, but like they say, "its for your own good". BTW, I'm a dealer too, and I fix gits.

yea man, the first time i wanted to do any adjustments to my guitar, the first thing i did was go onto the internet and find out as much info i cld as possible, b4 doing anything to it. thats how i fully understood my rig :D
