THE MISFIT RAMONES and FROSTYMUG Showcase at Chapter 6 Studio (19 June 2010, 4-6PM)
2 bands will put on a showcase with the main intention to entertain the audience. Rest assured that the show will be as interactive and as intimate as possible.
The Misfit Ramones, in celebration of their 2nd anniversary and the longevity of their original line-up, will perform the standard Ramones and Misfits classics. Interspersed between the covers will be their very own original songs that parody life in Singapore in a very punk rock fashion. With guest musicians jamming together with the band, The Misfit Ramones will also invite the audience to the stage with them and sing along to the songs that they will be performing.
Frostymug is a band that fuses together catchy melodies and heavy riffs, punk rock aggression and hard rock guitar flamboyance. With an EP and a full-length album in their portfolio, Frostymug certainly has a great deal of street cred and experience, which includes a concert circuit tour of Indonesia in 2009. While Singapore has many underground or indie rock bands, not many bands have the ability to write songs with catchy hooks and melodies. Frostymug is certainly one of the few bands here with such talent for good songwriting.
So catch these 2 bands in action. An evening that is surely not to be missed. And be rest assured, that you won't miss the World Cup action even if you come for this showcase.
