haha!

Three seasons without a trophy does crazy things to fans - like dreaming too much.

I bet this nasri dude will last just as long as Reyes in the BPL. All he needs is to get Browned a couple of times, ala Hasli Ibrahim style and he'll be packing his backs and heading back to France.

EH u Man U fellas - take a break ..Euro not over yet - report to this thread in Aug

Germany!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bring on the ayam penyets bros ....woo hooo!!!!!!

U know, Hleb has been connected with Barca for quite a while now while Adebayor with Milan. If those 2 leave as well then how? Van Persie for Adebayor is ok but Nasri for Hleb? Nah. Imagine though, if Liverpool signed Bastian Schweinsteiger, David Villa and David Silva. Then the attacking 5 wld be ( FW, FW, LM, RM, CM/AM ): Torres, Villa, Silva, Schweinsteiger, Gerrard. Then we can truly say: BRING IT ON ALL U WHO WANT LIVERPOOL'S TITLE! Haha u gotta have a dream right? Although i admit it won't be likely that even 1 of those players join.

Want-away Adebayor now eyes Barca switch

Emmanuel Adebayor has cast further doubt on his Arsenal future after revealing his interest in a move to Barcelona.

AC Milan are also pursuing the striker, who has given conflicting statements about his immediate future over recent days.

On Friday he insisted he would be staying with the Gunners before minutes later hinting he would push for a move to the San Siro in showdown talks with manager Arsene Wenger next week.

On Saturday, however, Wenger insisted he would not be seeing Adebayor - who scored 30 goals last season - having already held talks with him.

Now the 24-year-old has further muddied the waters by revealing Barca's interest which he would favour if the north London club do not meet his demands for a pay rise to a reported £120,000 a week

He told the News of the World: 'Milan are a big club but the fact they are not playing in the Champions League next season is less of a challenge.

'Barcelona have made a good financial offer and there is also the chance to play alongside great players.

'Yes, I am still under contract to Arsenal but it's up to the directors to satisfy my demands or I'll leave.

'If my good form of last season has increased my value, my employers have to take account of that.

'I have to prepare for my retirement. Even if you are not scoring fine goals and you have money, you can enjoy a happy retirement.

'The time for preparing for that moment is now.'

The former Monaco striker also believes he should be given parity with ex-team-mate Thierry Henry.

'People ask if I am asking for the same salary as Henry. That is not necessarily the question.

'But I am being considered a worthy replacement for Henry while not deserving his salary.

'The question lies on this level.'

I hope that Adebayor does not go..

Cesc in Euro 2008 Team of the Tournament

Cesc Fabregas had another reason be cheerful today as it was announced that he, along with eight more of his countrymen, was chosen in the Uefa Euro 2008 Team of the Tournament.
The midfield maestro joined Iker Casillas, Carlos Marchena, Carles Puyol, Marcos Senna, Xavi Hernández, Andrés Iniesta, Fernando Torres and David Villa in the team that was chosen by a nine-strong group of expereinced football technicians.
Barcelona man Xavi Hernandez scooped the accolade of Man of the Tournament, but Fabregas who was involved largely as a substitute should be proud of his inclusion among the continents elite.
In Spain’s first game Cesc came off the bench, setting up the third goal and scoring the fourth in a 4-1 rout over Russia. He then featured in the other two Group D fixtures before crashing home the decisive penalty in a shoot-out victory over Italy at the Quarter-Final stage.
In the Semi-Finals, too, he thrived coming off the bench grabbing two assists, the first of which was a sumptuous chipped pass for David Guiza. In the Final, Fabregas started but was replaced on the hour as Spain aimed to protect their narrow lead.
Cesc finished as the tournaments joint-top goal-maker with Hamit Altintip, who also made the team.
Below is the full list of players included in the Uefa Euro 2008 Team of the Tournament.
Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Italy), Iker Casillas (Spain), Edwin van der Sar (Netherlands).
Defenders: Bosingwa (Portugal), Philipp Lahm (Germany), Carlos Marchena (Spain), Pepe (Portugal), Carles Puyol (Spain), Yuri Zhirkov (Russia).
Midfielders: Hamit Altintop (Turkey), Luka Modric (Croatia), Marcos Senna (Spain), Xavi Hernández (Spain), Konstantin Zyryanov (Russia), Michael Ballack (Germany), Cesc Fàbregas (Spain), Andrés Iniesta (Spain), Lukas Podolski (Germany), Wesley Sneijder (Netherlands).

The English forward will vacate the No 32 shirt that he has worn since his arrival at the Club from Southampton over two-and-a-half years ago.
Walcott enjoyed his finest season with the Gunners last term, grabbing his first Premier League and Champions League goals. His growth into one of the country’s brightest talents culminated in a recall to the England set-up for the fixture against Trinidad and Tobago.
The change is the only one following the announcement last week on squad numbers, which saw new signing Aaron Ramsey handed the No 16 shirt, and striker Carlos Vela taking No 12. Below is the full list of squad numbers for the 2008/09 campaign.
