DUDELOVE - Agreed. If Liverpool do slip up in their next 2 games & Chelsea go on to win their remaining games, Liverrrrrrrpoool might just find themselves in 3rd place & without automatic qualification into the group stage in Champions League next season...Ahh....that would be a dream.

yup, format has changed, now only arsenal needs to play in the qualifying stages. Like we have played for the last 3 years. Don't forget, all three years Arsenal made it to the later stages of the tournament with a young squad.

i just hope Wenger really really really overhauls the rot in the team... like get rid of Gallas and bring in a really good centre back! Diaby should go somewhere else on loan or something until he doesn't suck anymore, and we should sell Adebayor to AC Milan to raise funds.

And of course, pray that when Wenger signs someone he signs in the end season window NOT in the january window. Ganna like Arshavin again

Yes, i have to say that Wenger is the master of buying young talents for like less than 1 million, making them into class footballers & then selling them off for millions. He's got a knack for doing this. He saves Arsenal lots of money by doing all this too.
 
NAK - Oh so only 4th place has to play qualifying....ahhh ok....thanks for the update! Btw, was this change recently implemented? No wonder Chelsea are giving it their all, not wanting to find themselves in 4th position.
 
giving our all? we didnt even look like we were in full gear yet we managed to put 3 pass them. toure really didnt want drogs to score. all that boo-ing on cole and drogs really got back to them. THERE'S ONLY 1 CLUB IN LONDON

I'd love to say I agree with that statement but I can't lah..Becoz Fergie also uses the club's financial situation to buy himself established players & that plus shitloads of hardwork propels the club to victories...

DOGGIESHAMAN - I totally agree...When Big Phil was around, there was so much more zest exuding from the men in blue....
