The difference between a guitar and a bass...

Very Different ...
i started out play bass ...
and tone is soooo important (not dat guitar is different) ...
but to the extent .. where my instructor made me play 1 note ...
FOR THE WHOLE LESSON >>... just to get the tone right ... ~
also the way you play and everything ... very different ~!
wah .... but good ...~! i like ~!
den when i venture into guitar ...
i find it very hard ...
i duno la ... most ppl i know dat switch from bass to guitar ...
say guitar easier coz their fingers can stretch already ...
but ... tone wise ... playing ... style ...everything ....
i find guitar harder ... but i get to learn more things ...

coming from e other side here.. i started out playing a bit of guitar then switched to bass. yeah... very different..
muscles n finger movement different... muting style different.. role differents.. and esp approaching a song different. imho lead guitar players are mostly thinking along the lines of melodies or countermelodies (solos/riffs) but bassists are thinking more abt setting the feel for the song... (e all impt 'groove').
also, i understand nebo.. just playing a few simple notes sure was harder than i expected... but i also like!
