Haha you know Joe Strummer died 10 years ago of a congenital heart defect.

The "Guns of Brixton" is a Paul Simonon song. Paul Simonon was like George Harrison who was not one of the main songwriters but wrote a few very good songs. For me the magic of the Clash is one of the most underrated aspects of the band - they were excellent songwriters. And for me the best sort of punk music is music that understands that punk is nothing but pop music played loud and fast.

Good luck to you It's good that there are other Clash fans around. I also got into the Clash at the age of 15 and am still a fan.
